.Net Web Developer

Symmetria Web Solutions is currently seeking for a full time .Net Web developer to join a highly skilled team of proven successful professionals.

Requirements:

The candidate must have:

• A strong portfolio which can showcase your talent and work
• Multiple years of web development experience and at least 2 years of recent experience with ASP.NET development, either in C# or VB.Net.
• Web development experience and familiarity with web application design and development principles
• Solid skills in OO programming
• Recent experience with and strong knowledge of modern web technologies including HTTP, JavaScript, DOM, XML
• Database design and programming knowledge in MS SQL Server.
• Solid communication and team work skills
• Urge to continually learn and improve technical skills

Non required skills
(knowledge of one or more of the following skills will be considered as a plus):

• Familiarity with HTML and XHTML standards
• Familiarity with CSS
• Familiarity with W3C Validation principles
• Experience with Web Content Management Systems
• Basic Windows Server and/or IIS administration skills
• Understanding of JavaScript libraries like jQuery, Prototype, MooTools
• Familiarity with ORM systems.
• Basic understanding of programming concepts like Aspect Oriented Programming (AOP), Inversion of Control (IoC), Dependency Injection, Test Driven Development, Domain Driven Development, Agile development (Scrum, Extreme Programming), Object-relational mapping (ORM)
• Experience with ASP. NET MVC
